PYO Families,

PYO Baseball is pleased to announce that their will be a Fall Baseball option available for all players that will be between the ages of 5 and 13 next season (born between 4/30/2017 and 5/1/2008). In an effort to provide the best instruction possible for your kid’s development, all of the youth rec baseball programs in the city have come together to provide two extremely exciting options.

Option 1 (Players that will be between the ages of 8 and 13 on May 1st, 2022)

Lowell Fall Baseball Clinic
All of the Lowell rec baseball programs (PYO, CYO, Highlands, Shedd, Callery and Clemente) have come together to offer this option. Sean Riley, former LHS standout, Callery Park coach, Assistant Coach at Santa Clara University and Major League Baseball Professional Scout, will be the program coordinator for all of the Lowell Fall Baseball Clinics

- Clinics will be on Sunday mornings from 9am – 12pm
- Session will last 6 weeks running from Sept 12th – Oct 17th with a rain date of Oct 24th.
- All sessions will be held at the sr. league diamond at Shedd Park 453 Rodgers St. Lowell, MA
- All participants will receive a T-shirt and hat
- Cost is $45
- Registration can be done on the www.pyo.teamapp.com website by clicking on the registration tab and following the instructions. Same process as other PYO offerings

Option 2 (Players that will be between the ages of 5 and 7 on May 1st, 2022)

Boomer Baseball, run by Brendan Akashian, will be hosting a 5U to 7U fall baseball program for 9 weeks (Sundays) starting on Sept 5 and ending Oct 31st. Details below:

- There is a boy’s specific program (9:30am-10:45am, Shedd Lower) and girls specific program (11:00 am-12:15pm, Shedd Lower). PYO softball players ages 5-7 are welcome to sign up for this program as well.
- Program is only offered to Lowell, MA residents
- Participant’s birthday must be on or between the following dates: 5/1/2014 through 4/30/2017
- Any sessions cancelled due to weather will not be made up.
- All participants will receive a T-shirt
- The last session of program is on Oct 31st when we will ask all participants to wear their Halloween costumes to baseball.
- The cost is $25 for the program

Option 3 Sandlot Sessions

This option is completely FREE and no registration is required. More details on the Sandlot games to follow. These will be pick up style games with a PYO coach or two their to umpire, give instruction and just keep the kids safe and having fun.
